Mr. Abhishek Gajjar
Hello and welcome to Sharan Stay!
I’m Abhishek Gajjar, the founder and owner of Sharan Stay. My love for travel started in childhood with the Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), and since then, the mountains have always been my second home.
Originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, I began my journey as a travel instructor in 2012, leading groups to Manali and exploring the hidden gems of Himachal. Over the years, I discovered that hosting is not just about stay—it’s about creating authentic cultural experiences.
That’s how Sharan Stay was born. Here, I bring together my passions for trekking, camping, storytelling, local culture, and photography. Since 2014, I’ve been practicing bird and wildlife photography, along with capturing the nature, culture, and heritage of the Himalayas. This helps me connect even more deeply with the land, and I love sharing these stories and visuals with our guests.
I’ve also completed my Basic Rock Climbing Course (BRC) at the Swami Vivekanand Institute, Mount Abu, which deepened my love for adventure and the outdoors.
At Sharan Stay, I personally ensure that every guest feels at home. From heritage walks and local food experiences to forest camping and customized trips, we create moments that connect you with Himachal’s rich culture and natural beauty.
For me, every guest is not just a visitor, but part of the Sharan Stay family. Together, we don’t just create memories—we create cultural experiences that share the true spirit of the Indian Himalayas.
